This little female Downy is going to take a peek at me before flying up to the suet feeder. The Downies are the most brave of the birds that visit my deck. I'll be standing at the rail and one of these characters will land right along side me. I love it. One day I'm going to attempt to hand feed one of these guys or gals. The Downy is very territorial. They are continually chasing one another off the deck attempting to lay claim to the suet feeder. They're fun to watch.
